A hot week without rain – Radio Miter

Mario Navarro, meteorologist

The forecast for next week is clear: “Rain, nothing. “Heat, yes,” meteorologist Mario Navarro said. Temperatures will reach 42, 43 and 44 degrees, starting on Wednesday and extending until part of Saturday. “It will be the hottest week so far this year,” he added.

NOA will experience somewhat milder conditions due to the gradient of moist air from the Pacific Ocean. Navarro explained, “Temperatures will range between 28 and 32 degrees, with some rain and drizzle,” expecting a partial relief in that region.

On the other hand, the National Environment Agency is preparing for “a high chance of rainfall with accumulations of between 40, 50 and 60 mm.” For its part, Buenos Aires province will also see rain next weekend. He explained, “On Saturday and Sunday, the center of the country will witness rain ranging between 17 and 35 mm.”

In Patagonia, Chubut and Santa Cruz, they will face strong winds and even snowfall, a rare phenomenon at this time of year. The Atlantic Coast will have cold days, with lows between 7 and 11 degrees.
