Mango received the 10th Propeller Barcelona Award for its commitment to innovation and sustainability

The Propeller Club of Barcelona awarded the tenth Propeller Award to Mango, thus recognizing the company for its path and commitment to innovation, sustainability, industrial and social progress, logistics and export activities. Tony Ruiz, CEO of Mango, accepted the award during the club’s monthly lunch discussion, an event attended by more than 70 people, including members and guests. Propeller Barcelona currently has over 90 members and has seen an increase in the number of members from the logistics sector.

In his acceptance speech, Tony Ruiz expressed his pride in receiving this honor, emphasizing the collective effort of all those who have been part of Mango over its 40-year history. He emphasized the company’s clear orientation towards its own design, its international mission, and the use of the latest technologies, including one of the most advanced logistics systems in Europe. Ruiz also stressed Mango’s commitment to moving towards a more sustainable industry.

Founded in 1984 by Isak Indyk, Mango is one of Europe’s premier fashion groups, headquartered in Barcelona and present in more than 115 markets on five continents. Its online strategy covers 110 markets and represents 36% of its total business.

Mango has implemented a sustainability strategy called Sustainable Vision 2030, which focuses on three main business lines: commitment to product, planet and people. The company is striving to move towards a more sustainable range, with the aim that by 2030 all of its fibers will be sustainably sourced or recycled. In addition, Mango is maintaining its goal of climate neutrality by 2050 and working to reduce water and plastic consumption. The company also strives to achieve full traceability and transparency in its supply chain and collaborates with globally recognized social action entities such as Save The Children.
