Well, let’s stick to electric cars and talk about Tesla’s stock in that company rising after it gave an update on its long-awaited electric semi-truck or should I say semi-truck project.
Below are the details of Yahoo Finance Pro Subman Semi Truck, Semi and Four Conductor.
I think I heard both.
Yes. Well, anyway, we’re talking about tractor trailers, which is what I’ve always called a tractor.
This is a strange term.
The tractor trailer there has understood the whole concept.
But anyway, yeah, an update to the long-awaited semi and semi truck.
Yes.
Uh the vehicle that truck, sorry that debuted in 2017, is still in beta testing for that vehicle right now.
So basically uh uh the project, the project manager was speaking at Act Expos or the Alternative Clean Transportation Expo.
Someone figure out how they’re going to deliver these by early 2026.
There’s a new facility they’re building attached to G in Nevada.
When that’s fully ramped up, they’ll probably produce 50,000 units a year, which I think is more than people thought would be produced for this big, big car.
But anyway, there’s an early kind of spec here, the 500-mile range version, the long range version.
We’re on the 23,000, and the mid-length type of truck has 300 miles, and the range of the truck is 20,000.
Sorry, there are a lot of numbers here.
So, yes.
Oh, I think there’s some bullets for that car to tell us about how it covered 3.5 million test miles with original testing partner Pepsi and also their use of the truck to deliver batteries from their battery facility in Nevada to the Fremont plant.
There’s a lot going on out there trying to enhance this truck, and it’s working.
It seems to be very effective.
They say, they can tow a full load of 82,000.
Uh, the beginning is 250 to 500 miles, uh, depending on how the elevation changes, things like that.
So, uh, kind of the efficiency there for this long distance, uh, kind of uh, truck very quickly.
When will we see this on the road?
2026 When they say early 2026 first, real post production or after beta spec models.
So we will look for them.
Good.
Thank us.
we appreciate that.
